“The quieter you become, the more you can hear.” – (Ram Dass)
Life is full of changes.
And sometimes, we don’t know what will make us feel good.
I went through a climactic journey. I left a well-paying job, and became self-employed. I left my marriage, and began living on my own. I left a beautiful, posh and big house, and began waking up in a tiny one.
Is that good or bad?
These changes help me realize what’s truly important: that I’ve been blessed with a great daughter and an amazing son. Raising them taught me to slow down, to look inside, to accept myself as I am, to face fear, and to recognize my talent, skills, abilities, and commitment. Embrace my flaws, as they are my strengths,
Changes also led to proper nutrition to take care of my body, and practicing BreathWork and meditation assisted me in quieting my mind. I’m silencing this endless chatter inside my head, so I can hear more of my true self.
I close my eyes while meditating, and I see a shape, emitting energy suitable for yoga and meditation spaces. I get back to my studio, still in this state of “FLOW” and I create this ambient light, perhaps as great reminder to listen more to myself and to stay on my path.
A professor at Harvard University, Ram Dass’ work was at the forefront of the 60’s LSD research and experimentation movement, advocating consciousness through compassion and meditation living.
This piece of art is dedicated to him, as his spirit continues to his next journey.
RIP, Ram Dass.
