The Parts of Me

”I’m intrigued.”

Typically, this is the first impression people give when they see this intricate piece of art.

And it embodies what happens when we find our true purpose, our calling in life.

Inspired by Simon Sinek’s great work “Start with Why”, it is a physical aide-mémoire, a cue to remind us that when the tension within is overcome, light emerges.

While I was looking for my ‘Why’, I have looked within to all that makes me who I am.

All the peculiarities, the good and the not-so-good, my memories and my tendencies.

When I was searching for my “Why”, I felt a mix of overwhelm and inspiration, as the journey released abundant energy, as if the universe wanted to empower me in

my quest. And this may happen to you too. 

This piece is intricate, because I am intricate.

It is asymmetrical, because the path of my life isn’t a precise and straight line. 

And the energy released when finding the “Why”, is represented by the LED light; whilst the threads represent the extraordinary experiences that endured with me, in my journey, and thus became part of who I am.
